Santhanam Vidhyalaya Senior Secondary School celebrated 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐚𝐲 with energy and enthusiasm on 𝟑𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐎𝐜𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑. Celebrants wore masks and costumes for the celebration and for trick-or-treating. 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤-𝐨𝐫-𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 went from one classroom to another with the threat that they will pull a trick if they do not receive a treat, and got a handful of candies. They also pulled some harmless pranks on their friends The celebration extended with 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠, where children showed their gratitude towards people who take care of them, by sharing the candies.

To cherish and celebrate the success of our historic Chandrayaan-3 mission, we organized a mega session ‘𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬’. our chief guests, 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢. 𝐌 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐔 𝐑 𝐑𝐚𝐨 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞, 𝐈𝐒𝐑𝐎 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐫. 𝐏. 𝐕𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐯𝐞𝐥, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐚𝐧-𝟑, 𝐔 𝐑 𝐑𝐚𝐨 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞, 𝐈𝐒𝐑𝐎, through their inspiring speeches, shared their knowledge with the students. In his speech, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐏. 𝐕𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐯𝐞𝐥 said that the success in Chandrayaan-3 is not just for the scientific community. It is for the entire country. He also explained about the 𝐦𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 and 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬. While addressing the students, 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢. 𝐌 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧 highlighted the difference between 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝟐 and 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝟑 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. He advised the students to strive for excellence in whatever they do.

It is really a dream come true for all the Santhanam Vidhyalayans when the five-time world chess champion Grandmaster Shri. Viswanathan Anand visited the campus for a session on “Leadership through Sports”.
By sharing his experience, Grandmaster clearly highlighted the role of sports in developing and enhancing leadership qualities such as perseverance, focus, knowing our destination and consistency.
After the session, our institution’s state-of-the art Montessori Environment “Paarijaatha” was inaugurated by Shri. Viswanathan Anand.
The session was indeed motivational and inspiring.
