The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in our school. Shri. R. Varadarajan and Smt. G. Geetha varadarajan, proud parents of Major Mukund Varadarajan graced the occasion. The programme began with the unfurling of the National Flag by the chief guest, followed by the National Anthem. In his address, the chief guest said that it is not necessary to join the army to serve our country; one can contribute by being excellent in any chosen field. He also advised students to stay physically fit and have faith in themselves. The celebration continued with patriotic songs and dances performed by the students, filling everyone with a sense of pride and patriotism.
The event came to a graceful close with a formal vote of thanks.
