A good leader possesses vision and strategy, effective communication, ethical leadership, integrity, adaptability, resilience, mentorship, and continuous learning, quoting from the Mahabharata. He accentuated that a virtuous leader must be a servant. The newly elected student council will uphold this legacy of being a ‘servant-first’ and a ‘boss-next’.

Students and staff participated in a morning yoga session, showcasing various asanas and breathing exercises. The event emphasized the importance of yoga for physical and mental well-being. On 30th April , the valedictory function of the Cricket Masterclass, was organized . Our Chief Guest, and Master coach , Mr. Jeshwanth Karthik, Former Captain, Karnataka State Ranji Trophy Team, after honouring the school coaches, advised the students to reach their best in sports and learn values. He appreciated the parents for encouraging the children to play sports and requested them to look for holistic development of children with patience. A certificate of Participation was given to the aspiring young cricketers.

𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐣𝐚𝐲𝐊𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐊𝐚𝐮𝐥, 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞, 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐨𝐟𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚, said that law education in our country and Supreme Court has evolved at a higher level. 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐲, 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧, the Master coach, while delivering the valedictory address, said that some parents still have the misconception that playing sports will affect the academic performance .He was confident that the school’s Basketball team will be the best team in our state soon.He also insisted on the importance of regular practice, especially on the basics.

To make our students aware of ChatgGPT and its implications, we arranged a seminar on ” Do you think you are smarter than ChatGPT/ Generative Artificial intelligence”. The Chief Guest Ms. Asha Sunil, Manager , Programme Management for Sensitive Content and Privacy – Amazon, U.S.A, highlighted how Artificial Intelligence plays a role in all fields.she also talked about how this AI could cause ‘disruption’ in the job market by replacing some jobs. ChatGPT can never overtake humans, as we are more efficient than AI, she added.

Today, (21-04-2024), Santhanam Vidhyalaya CBSE organized a webinar Masterclass Session with Sunil Chhetri, The Indian National Football Team Captain under the series of “Pathway to success through Sports” as a part of the Annual Summer Sports Camp.
He started by saying that “By doing every small things correctly with the guidance of coaches every day, magic will happen”
He shared that playing other different kind of games also will make us fit to play football better.
He advised the participants to follow the same pattern of waking up and going to bed on all days to stay strong and healthy and neglect the negative comments from others when they are not going to help us.
Parents and students were benefitted from this excellent webinar.

Reading is to mind what exercise is to the body. To enhance the reading habit of the students 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐕𝐢𝐝𝐡𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚 celebrated “𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐃𝐚𝐲” in its own special way! To cultivate a love for reading, our children were gifted with short story books and encouraged them to read. It was wonderful to see children eagerly reading stories along with their parents. The 𝐂𝐄𝐎𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, while talking about the importance of books, said that reading books enhance creativity, develop communication skills and build character.
The 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, in her address, insisted that children should read books everyday. She reiterated the theme. ‘India reads’ on 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐃𝐚𝐲 .This event would surely encourage children to discover the pleasure of reading.
