Our institution proudly organized a book Introduction Programme featuring Lightning Kid, written by Grand Master Viswanathan Anand. The book, with its 64 winning lessons inspires young readers to develop critical thinking, patience, confidence, and perseverance through the game of chess.
Students presented a creative chess formation, forming a giant chessboard and chess pieces to honour and appreciate the author’s remarkable achievements.
A Fireside Chat with the champion was also organized which provided an inspiring opportunity for participants to hear first-hand about excellence, leadership, resilience, and lifelong learning.
The session was effectively moderated by the institution’s CEO Shri K Chandrasekharan, who guided the discussion with thoughtful questions related to Grand Master’s achievements, his life, personal growth, career and future of chess.
The programme motivated everyone to embrace great principles in their academic, professional and personal journeys.
