Santhanam Vidhyalaya Senior Secondary School programmed the 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 for the year 2024-25 on 29th June 2024. 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐤𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧, 𝐂𝐄𝐎 of Santhanam Vidhyalaya, in his address, reinstated that honesty, vision, and communication are the triune benchmarks of a good leader. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐕.𝐏. 𝐒𝐫𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧, 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐲, the Guest of Honour, in his address, with reference to Panchatantra stories, highlighted that a leader should have effort, focus, alertness, vigilance, and liberality. A good leader possesses vision and strategy, effective communication, ethical leadership, integrity, adaptability, resilience, mentorship, and continuous learning, quoting from the Mahabharata. He accentuated that a virtuous leader must be a servant. The newly elected student council will uphold this legacy of being a ‘servant-first’ and a ‘boss-next’.
